Share the gift of Reiki with those in need while gaining experience in professional environments. Below are facilities on the Northshore, Ma. that accept Reiki practitioner volunteers.
🌟 Level 1 and Up

No requirement for Reiki level to volunteer at the hospital. You may need to present your certificate so have it on hand. The opportunity would cover different kinds of hospital patients and staff. Requirements include:
–Filling out this application
-Consent to a federal and state background check.
-Need to go to occupational health for a blood draw to check vaccines.
-Flu shot is optional, as we are out of flu season.
-Sign a HIPPA confidentiality agreement.
-There will be an initial opportunity to shadow a patient visitor/volunteer to train you how to enter a room. This may not be a Reiki practitioner.
-They ask that volunteers commit for 1 day and time for consistency. It is up to you for the length of time and day. They offer weekends and evenings.

Volunteers are an integral part of the Care Dimensions hospice care team. All of their volunteers need to complete a 16 hour comprehensive training course. These classes are held virtually on Zoom, 2 days per week for 4 weeks. Reiki volunteers must be a level 2.
